ALLOY COMPOSITION AND TEMPERATURE-DEPENDENCE OF THE FUNDAMENTAL ABSORPTION-EDGE IN CUGAXIN1-XSE2

摘要
We have proposed a semi-empirical expression for the alloy composition and temperature dependence of the fundamental energy gap in the CuGa(I)n(1-x)Se(2) alloy system. A good agreement between theoretical predictions and available experimental data is found. It seems that such semi-empirical expressions are of considerable importance for the analysis of results on new ternary and quaternary compounds and its alloys for which detailed studies based on a more fundamental analysis are not available.
