摘要
The paper show how the entropies of deterministic functions can apply to information processing. The maximum entropy principle turns out to be the minimum pattern entropy principle. By using the pattern entropy of the brightness function, one can analyze picture patterns and consider the problem of image transformation on the information theoretic standpoint.
