摘要
An overview of important trends in electrophoretic methods for the direct separation of optical isomers is presented. The fundamental characteristics of electromigration techniques, the phenomena of molecular chirality and aproaches to chiral separations by electrophoretic methods are discussed. The advantages of these techniques are demonstrated with numerous practical examples of electrophoretic enantioseparations.
