摘要
As people age they are more susceptible to various problems in the visual system. The optometrist is in the position to take care of many of the functional losses that result from age-related problems and diseases. With increased awareness of basic low vision and rehabilitation services, the practitioner can continue to care for the visual needs of the older patient. © 1990 American Academy of Optometry.
