摘要
The gyromagnetic ratios of 6 excited levels in the lowest K = 1/2 and 3/2 bands of W-183 were measured using the thin-foil transient-field technique. The level scheme was extended to spin 17-/2 and multipole mixing ratios measured for several transitions. Detailed comparisons of the spectroscopic data on W-183 with the rotation-particle coupling model show good agreement, but favour a Coriolis mixing strength much larger than predicted by previous Nilsson model calculations in which hexadecapole deformation was neglected.
