摘要：
The synthesis and in vitro antibacterial activity of some halo- and trifluoromethyl-substituted phenylcephalosporins and substituted phenyldeacetoxycephalosporins are described. The dilution method [minimal inhibitory concentration, MIC (mu-g ml-1)] was used to test the synthesized compounds. We were interested in the following questions: 1. Is this type of substances highly active only against Gram-positive organisms? 2. Which halogen and which positions of halogen are especially favorable?
