摘要
The phenomena occurring when low inductive and capacitive currents are interrupted in high-voltage networks are described. Whereas the electrical arc characteristic is important during disconnection of inductive load circuits, it is dielectric strength of the circuit-breaker which is the important factor in capacitive circuits. Special attention is paid to the disconnection of transformers on no load, compensating reactors and to line dropping.
