摘要
High transport and magnetic Jc of 3 X 10(4) A/cm2 have been detected at 77K and various applied fields for YBa2Cu3Oy (YBCO) synthesized by an improved melt-textured growth(MTG) process. In order to investigate the mechanism responsible for the enhanced high Jc, the hysteresis at different field-sample orientations have also been measured. It is argued that the high Jc of MTG YBCO results mainly from the reduction of weak links in the sample.
