摘要：

Through a counterpoint of the physiognomies of Walter Benjamin and Theodor W. Adorno, this paper deals with the peculiar relationship that united them. Emphasis is placed on elucidating the singularities of the epistolary link that the Frankfurt School's thinkers established during the turbulent 1930s. The objective of this paper is both to describe in detail the specificities of their respective intellectual trajectories and to show its intersections. At the same time, it attempts to enlighten something of the essence of an anachronistic media and literary genre: the letter.
