摘要
The objective of this study is to formulate and analyze an integrated decision model of training and job search in the labor market. The paper extends the existing job search theory by allowing the individual to undertake costly training activities which affect his potential wage offer distribution. We characterize the structure of the individual's optimal training strategy, and present various economic implications of our proposed model.
