摘要：

A novel superconducting DC fault current limiter (SCDCFCL) to suppress a short-circuit current in DC transmission line is presented. The SCDCFCL is composed of two superconducting windings wound on a single iron core. We fabricated a small experimental SCDCFCL and confirmed the fundamental operation. The experimental results are presented. And, some considerations for a future full-size design are also presented.
