NUCLEATION IN ALUMINUM ELECTRODEPOSITION FROM ELECTROLYTES BASED ON TRIETHYLALUMINUM

For melts MF . 2Al(C2H5)(3), where M = Na+, K+, Rb+, and Et(4)N(+), it has been shown that the initial stage of aluminum electrodeposition corresponds to the model of instantaneous nucleation with diffusion control of nuclei growth sites. Parameters of the diffusion flow, the number of active nucleation centers, and nucleation constants have been evaluated.
