摘要
This article presents an empowerment wheel that can be used to guide survivors of intimate partner violence (IPV) as they move through the healing journey. The empowerment wheel addresses the following six concepts: boundary setting, recognition of red flags, relationship authenticity, locus of control, negative self-talk, and integrated sense of self. A case study example is used to demonstrate the concepts as they relate to the renegotiation of self and self-in-relationship in the aftermath of IPV.
