摘要
A model of glass constructed entirely with phonons is introduced and solved in closed form, It yields c(p)(T) approximately T at low temperatures in the glassy phase. The fit to typical glasses, requiring just a single adjustable parameter, is excellent. The model includes random scattering of normal modes and quartic anharmonicity (the latter required for stability), but no two-level states.
