摘要
Dispersion equations describing amplification and channelization of electromagnetic waves by thin-wall (ribbon and tubular) relativistic electron beams are obtained for FEL based on stimulated undulator radiation. Systems with plane magnetic and electric, as well as axially symmetric undulators are considered. Compton and Raman interactions are studied. It is shown, that channelization processes for H- and E-polarized electromagnetic waves differ because of different ratios of the wave components responsible for electromagnetic energy transfer and interacting with electron beams.
