摘要
Observed short timescale variability of the X-ray luminosity of Active Galactic Nuclei shows no characteristic frequency in the range 10(-5) Hz less-than-or-similar-to omega less-than-or-similar-to 10(-3) Hz. We show that for any kind of intrinsic variability in the innermost part of accretion disks orbiting around black holes the observed variability pattern is influenced in the short timescale range by the relativistic rotation of the disk and Doppler beaming.
