The preliminary studies were conducted with the promising multipurpose aerospace system (MASS) involving modified super-heavy subsonic carrier aircraft An-225, external tank (ET) and orbital aircraft, the purpose of which is to place various loads (satellites, spacecraft) on low-altitude orbit. to conduct international inspection of space objects under the auspices of the UN, to carry out the operations concerning maintenance service and air rescue service in emergency cases in relation to spacecraft, orbital stations as well as passengers during sub-orbital flights. Here are also formulated the basic points of the aerospace system (ASS) concept, given in versions of the ASS with different standard equipment of the second stage [orbital aircraft + ET, single-stage spacecraft (SC)] as well as given the method of economic analysis of the launch cost per unit weight (1 kg) that is very important for comparison of the versions. The paper presents a brief analysis of possible field landings of an orbital aircraft (OA) in Europe.
