摘要
This study aims to discuss the Ludic Model and the play for children with physical disabilities from literature search. The main feature of the Ludic Model is to play, that appears from attitude, action and interest of the child. This is viewed like an activity of the own child, been considered an area of occupational performance. The profession of Occupational Therapy operates in the areas of occupational performance, proposed in its reasoning, seeking greater independence possible of the child in these areas according to their difficulties. Therefore, Occupational Therapy can intervene in the treatment of children with physical disabilities using the play to acquire different skills. The Ludic Model brings a new vision of the play, seeing it like objective of the intervention. This model is interested that the child plays. From this we can understand the importance and validity of this search for the occupational therapists who work with children with physical disabilities.
