摘要：

This paper describes a rapid protocol for iliac crest biopsies with embedding in LR White plastic to facilitate diagnosis of osteomalacia. Sections were cut and stained for light and electron microscopy using traditional staining methods with minor modifications. Total processing time was within three days.
