摘要
Slush hydrogen is a mixture of liquid and frozen hydrogen in equilibrium with the gas at the triple point. Slush hydrogen is expected to be the primary propellant for the National Aero-Space Plane (NASP) because of its potential for reducing the plane's size and significantly cutting the projected gross lift-off weight. This paper provides an overview of slush hydrogen production methods and reviews the current state of knowledge regarding slush hydrogen utilization.
