摘要
Crystalline hydrates of uranyl fluoride are studied by an isopiestic method at 20-degrees-C. Uranyl fluoride forms hydrates of composition UO2F2.1.5H2O and UO2F2.2H2O. Equilibrium pressures of water vapors over crystalline hydrates of UO2F2 at 20-degrees-C are determined (680-1440 Pa for UO2F2.1.5H2O and 1440-2240 Pa for UO2F2.2H2O). X-ray diffraction analysis of the crystalline hydrates of UO2F2 confirm the existence of two crystalline modifications of UO2F2.1.5H2O.
