摘要
The authors conducted comparative cross-cultural research to examine a select group of the available and more noteworthy art education organizations and their programs after observing significant differences in the community art education programs offered in Tucson, Arizona, and Anyang, South Korea. The study reports several major differences between the two locations: availability and accessibility, teaching philosophies, marketing strategies, and emerging community art. Based upon these cross-cultural comparisons and implications, the authors provide some suggestions for both United States and Korean community art organizations and educators.
