ESTIMATION OF THE SPACING AND THE WIDTH OF CRACKS CAUSED BY SHRINKAGE IN THE CEMENT-TREATED SLAB UNDER RESTRAINT

摘要
A simplified method to calculate the spacing and the width of cracks caused by restraining shrinkage in the pavement layer made with cement treated materials is proposed. The post-cracking resistance of the material is evaluated by the use of the Smeared Crack Model. The drying time up to the initiation of crack and the complete failure of the element made with the material axe also estimated by the method proposed.
