摘要
Objective: To study the effect of the organic substances on adenosine deaminase (ADA) activity in normal and abnormal cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). Methods: Various concentrations of 2-mercaptopurine, Ame" tycine, Adenosine analogues (Guanine, Thymine) and ATP were tested to see their effect on ADA activity in normal and abnormal CSF. Results: ADA activity in normal and abnormal CSF was remarkably decreased with the increasing of concentrations of substances tested. Conclusion: These effects may have important therapeutic implications.
