摘要：
This paper describes the development of a digital computer program to calculate transmission line closing transients in the frequency domain. This technique provides very accurate results taking into account the line parameters frequency dependence in a natural manner. The applicability of the digital program on practical cases is demonstrated by comparing the results with those obtained in the time domain (EMTP). The effect of the number of harmonics included in the calculation on both the accuracy and computer time is also analyzed.
