摘要
The urinary concentration of galactose has been studied in normal newborn infants, in patients with neonatal jaundice, and in prematurely born infants. Three methods were used: (1) quantitative assay with galactose oxidase after ion exchange filtration; (2) quantitative assay with galactose dehydrogenase; and (3) qualitative assay with a test paper. The methods have been compared with one another. The normal concentration of galactose in the urine from the 3 groups of patients has been determined. © 1969 The C. V. Mosby Company.
