Public Private Partnerships: a manifestation of innovation and shared responsibility in public management

The purpose of this paper is Public Private Partnerships -hereinafter APP-, and in a timely manner, the study of Law 1508 of 2012 as a manifestation of innovation and shared responsibility in public management in Colombia. Under this approach, from a new perspective of public management and dogmatic approach, the following topics will be addressed: i) its emergence within the new dimension of the public, ii) its international and national antecedents, iii) a conceptual definition of its notion and defining features, iv) its legal configuration in Colombia, and v) determine the reasons why they constitute a manifestation of innovation and shared responsibility in public management.
