摘要
The reported Mössbauer spectra of the57Fe 14.4 keV γ-rays in CuFeS2 of Aramu et al. are criticized and shown to originate from FeS2 (pyrite) association of the studied sample. In addition, the hypothesis of the iono-covalent resonant structure as advanced by them is shown to be untenable considering the observed values of quadrupole splitting. © 1969 Società Italiana di Fisica.
