摘要：

Teratoma is an embryonic tumor that is generally localized at sacrococcygeal region. Only 3% are found at the cervical level. Cervical teratomas are associated with a very high prenatal mortality rate of more than 80%. Most of the mortalities are due to airway obstruction. We report a case of a neonate admitted with cervical mass without respiratory distress syndrome, the patient was operated on and the tumor was excised completely. The histological study of the tumor revealed benign teratoma.
