Fulminant Purpura in Adults. Case report

Introduction: 81 years-old woman, with a history of hypertension, atrial fibrillation, and sequel of CVD and epilepsy, who enter to emergency service with hematuria, thermal rise, impaired level of consciousness and generalized cutaneous erythematous lesions. Fulminant purpura is a term that brings together a heterogeneous group of disorders characterized by lesions of purpura and rapidly progressive necrosis in large areas of the skin; evolution is variable, with mild cases against high morbidity and mortality derived from systemic thromboembolic phenomena.
