摘要
Vegetable oil methyl esters (VOME), also known as biodiesel, is continuously expanding in France for the last 20 years and has really taken off from 2008, after fixing of biodiesel incorporation targets in fuels. This study was conducted in order to evaluate the socioeconomic and environmental impact of VOME sector in France in 2010 and to compare its impact to diesel sector's one in France, in 2010. The chosen approach is based on an evaluation of the sector all along the value chain in order to quantifying economic values (added value, global economic surplus, employment) and environmental externalities. It provides a picture of the French sector in 2010.
