A 2 8/12 year old boy presented with osteochondromata of the sternum, left clavicle, proximal epiphysis of the left humerus, and of the left carpalia as features of dysplasia epiphysealis hemimelica (Trevor-syndrome). The clavicle showed a lateral osteolysis. This is the first description of the involvement of sternum and clavicle. In cases with seemingly rapid onset the differential diagnosis of Trevor-syndrome includes malignancies. Modern imaging methods are not superior to conventional radiography which can establish the correct diagnosis especially when carpalia or tarsalia are involved.
