摘要
After the oral application of ascorbic acid (50 mg/kg body weight) the highest increase in the concentration in the blood plasma of 1 week and 2 weeks old lambs was determined after 5 hours. In the 4 week old lambs the increase was lower. There was still an elevated concentration in the blood plasma after 8 hours. After the installation of ascorbic acid in a buffer-solution into the rumen there was no resorption. After the application of a mixture of ascorbyltriphosphate (main portion), of ascorbyldiphosphate and of ascorbylmonophosphate in an equivalent dose of ascorbic acid to lambs of the same age in the course of 5 hours the same increase in the concentration of ascorbic acid in the plasma was analysed. At dogs of the race ''beagle'' after the intake of ascorbic acid (50 mg/kg b.w.) respectively of an equivalent dose of ascorbylphosphate-compounds the highest concentration in the blood plasma existed after 2 hours; there was still a significant increase after 8 hours. In the course of 8 hours in the dogs between 7,1 and 11,2 % of the ingested amount of ascorbic acid were excreted in the urine.
