STRUCTURE OF 2-DIMENSIONAL CONDUCTOR OF SR2RHO4

摘要
The structure of the two-dimensional conductor Sr2RhO4 was refined by powder X-ray diffraction analysis at room temperature. Sr2RhO4 crystallizes with the symmetry of space group I4(1)/acd (No. 142-2), isostructural with Sr2IrO4, and the room temperature lattice parameter a = 0.54516(1) nm and c = 2.57539(4) nm. The rotating angle of RhO6 octahedra about the c axis is 10 degrees. The structural data was found to be almost same as that for semiconducting and antiferromagnetic Sr2IrO4.
