(SIC) Is there any connection between political corruption and Democracy? A Theoretical Discussion towards establishing possible links

Since last years of the 20th century debates about the understanding of political corruption and democracy have been increased because of the support received by the processes of democratization, and political scandals concerning mismanagement of resources of the State. However, the researchers who have been studying these two phenomena have not been established clear tendencies about its relations. After a brief resume of the history of the way democracy and corruption have been interpreted, I adopt one foreign model to understand political democracy, and describe other about political corruption based on ideal types methodology. I suggest these types are helpful to determine in a more explicit way relations about ways people understand corruption and democracy.
