摘要
A perturbative calculation, out of the electric dipole approximation (EDA), of the absorption threshold of the two-photon interband transitions between the Landau levels of direct gap semiconductors without inversion symmetry is presented. This approach allows to explain with good approximation the absorption peaks with selection rule DELTA-mu = 0, also in a simple two-band model. As an application, the case of cuprous chloride in a 5T external static magnetic field is considered.
