摘要
The behaviour of the specular reflectance of Cr2O3 and alpha-Fe2O3 on iron has been studied theoretically and experimentally in the infrared region. An excellent agreement between calculated and experimental spectra is observed. The system Fe3O4/stainless steel has been studied experimentally. IR specular reflectance spectroscopy at variable incidence is a very suitable method for analyzing the initial stages of oxide formation on AISI 304 and 316 stainless steels air-corroded at high temperature.
