摘要
:
A unified microscopic theory is developed here to study processes of polymer ablation and desorption of neutral atoms from surfaces of non-metallic compounds which occur due to laser irradiation. In high excitonic density an excited state having a pair of excitons with their two holes localised on the same bond becomes energitically more favourable, and the bond gets etched. Results obtained here agree quite well with those of experiments and phenomenological theories. © 1990.
