Fractures of the distal radius are common injuries in children, and the incidence is increasing. Each injury presents with its own unique characteristics based on the patient's age, mechanism of injury, and overall health. The distal radius has the capability to remodel after injury, and therefore, most of these fractures heal without surgical intervention. Yet there is still much debate regarding the correct treatment modalities and acceptable deformities.
