摘要
The need to develop an incubator model adaptable to different places in which they are inserted, presupposes that the incubator must become an instrument for the local development, able to invigorate the learning process and thereby to assist in the accumulation of skills. Such approach is based on pillars of the evolutionary theory, in which the understanding of different processes of learning makes possible the understanding of the innovative process in which the company is inserted. The aim of this issue is to discuss better ways of action for incubators that reinforce the insertion of micro and small companies in local market, once the traditional model of incubators has found it difficult to adapt to the economic scene of many Brazilian cities. Such models consider the innovation as given; since the process of election of incubators privileges innovative rising companies. Conversely, the model of incubator proposed and developed in the present article understands that the innovative process is a consequence of the evolutionary learning process and, therefore can be maximized throughout the incubation period.
