摘要：

Chromic acid burns cause chronic, but not very painful ulcers. There exists the danger of percutaneous absorption with potentially lethal outcome. Therapy consists in elimination of the acid from the skin by immediate irrigation with water and successive careful excision of the contaminated areas. The course can be protracted by persistent necrosis and poor healing. A special case is described.
