SCALING THEORY OF ENTANGLED POLYMERS IN SHEAR-FLOW

摘要
Some conjectures and scaling arguments are given for entangled polymers in a Couette flow with strong velocity gradient. Polymers are envisaged to consist of cigar-like blobs oriented along the flow. Predictions are made on the anisotropy of the scattered intensities. The non-Newtonian effect is also examined.
