摘要
Plato censures the traditional myths in his great work The Republic. This is necessary because he thinks that these myths can supply woeful consequences to the education of the young Greeks that don't have still discernment to be introduced to the way traditional myths expose the behavior of gods and heros. It means that the myth, being secular, always continues to be present. It doesn't happen only in the case of Homer. Even the myths that Plato relates on his way or invents are present too. We see it because we can nowadays still experiment the disquiet nature of the human soul as it is described in Phedre. We also can realize from the myth of Er the necessity of taking care of each gesture in each moment. The description of the differential or extraordinary manner of philosophical being and living in a called "true earth" described in the conclusive myth of Phedon is perfect to show the way of being a thinker even today. With this paper I want to expose how the myths that Plato explores in his work are still present.
