摘要
The isotope separation factor, alpha, for rubidium isotopes in the rubidium amalgam/aqueous rubidium hydroxide system has been investigated as a function of temperature by both single-stage and multi-stage methods. At 293 K the single-stage separation factor for Rb-87-Rb-85 was found to be 1.000 70 +/- 0.000 06 by multi-stage experiments. The exothermic enthalpy of the isotope-exchange reaction was also estimated thermodynamically.
