摘要
Prejudice has been a pervasive contributing factor affecting our perceptions of the world outside, particularly hindering the desirable fusion of love and sexuality. The author examines the inter-linkages between hate, prejudice and sexuality and talks at length about the assumptions and stereotypes in male/female relationships. The author suggests that the study and acknowledgements of the gender differences could enable both the genders to explore hidden talents and skills and to develop them further to creat a rich relationship. This is a speculative paper based on the author's clinical findings for over 25 years dealing with psychoanalytical psychotherapy in an out-patient National Health Service clinic - the Portman Clinic, London - with a patient population affected by social and sexual deviancy. Empirical research is required for validation of these hypotheses.
