摘要：

The anthropometric measurements of boys and girls showed progressive increase in successive years from 2+ to 5+ years. Boys were slightly taller than girls in all age groups except 2+ year girls. The average values of weight were also more in males than in females in all age groups. Based on the nutritional index 44 percent of the children were found to be malnourished and 3.5 percent of the children were obese. Based on weight/height2ratio, 35.5 percent preschool children had a lower value. Thirty four percent of children suffered from lst level of malnutrition (90%) as per weight for height standards.
