The Dictionary of the Latin-American Cinema. Spain, Portugal and America, proposes for his transnational dimension to document the cinema projecting a cultural diversity that is own of the history of the languages and of his search for the representation of a culture. The work is simultaneously a critical dictionary but also an atlas and a book that allows to be read as history of the cinema. In him, it is a question of bringing together the whole investigation on the Latin-American cinema (Brazil and Portugal, included) and of provoking future investigations. In his pages they find specific information and ways of counting the cinema, but, in addition, a white of egg proposed on the sense that his authors provide him to the seventh art as a cultural industry it must be analyzed as an inexhaustible source of knowledge of the world.
