摘要
Multicolor emitting thin-film electroluminescent (TFEL) devices using Zn2SiO4 phosphor doped with Mn, Ti, Ce or Tm as the emitting layer are described. Green, yellow and red emissions were obtained by controlling the preparation conditions of the emitting layer of Zn2SiO4:Mn TFEL device. Blue-green and blue emissions were obtained for Ce-doped and Ti- and Tm-doped Zn2SiO4 TFEL devices, respectively. The origin of emissions from phosphors using Zn2SiO4 as the host material is also discussed.
