TOPOLOGICAL CONFORMAL FIELD-THEORIES AND THE FLAT COORDINATES

We discuss the relation between topological conformal field theories and singularity theory. We argue that the problem of the explicit solution of these theories is equivalent to that of finding the flat-coordinate basis in the space of couplings. The latter problem is the well-known problem of singularity theory. It has especially simple solutions in the case of minimal models.
