摘要：

The role of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in screening for breast cancer and its use after the diagnosis of breast cancer is discussed. The topic is enormous, with over 5 000 papers published in the last 10 years. In this precis, we focused on articles that examine its clinical relevance. We did not look at economic factors.
